In May, Dustin took the Marshallese youth to tour the local airport.

And I hosted the final Lunch Bunch with Grant's friends.

Dustin toured a baseball stadium for work.

Grant had lots of final concerts, as the school year finished up.  This one was for State Choir.  They got straight 1's (the best you can do).

Dustin and I had a fun date night with friends.

It was Mother's Day!  It was the last weekend before our girls moved to California for the summer.  We loved having them home for a couple of weeks together.

Avery and I went to brunch one morning.  Mmmm.

Grant had his final Concert Choir concert.  And the next week he had his final Madrigal's concert.  Lots of choir this month!

The girls left the next morning for Cali!  On to new adventures!  They will be living with my sister, Nicole, and her family this summer.  Avery got a job at Henry Cowell State Park, and Maren got a job as a kitchen cook at a Lutheran Day Camp.  So excited for them!

We have so many fun events with the Marshallese (this one was a double birthday party for a one year old and her 60 year old grandpa, Brother Swain).

We had a big baptism in the Branch!  We had 6 children get baptized (and one adult, later in the day).

We went to lunch with Rod's Wiberg cousins.

Grant got to participate in the final assembly before school got out.  They passed the jackets on to the Student Body Officer who will do their job next year.

Lana took me with her to see Riverdance at Eccles Theater.  It was really fun!

Anniversary celebration for our good friends, the Harry's.

We did a DVD yard sale!  We weren't sure if we'd even sale any, but we had a couple come by and they looked through everything we had outside and then went through the other half of the DVD's still in the basement.  After 4 hours, they left with about 900 DVD's!!  For the next couple of weeks we left it up on Facebook, and a few more people came by, and overall, we sold 1,500 from the yard sale efforts.  Not too bad!  We've also sold 500 new ones on Ebay.  Only 6,000 more to go!

Once school got out, Grant had Young Men's camp the very next Monday.  They went to Goblin Valley.  Dustin went for the last day so that he could bring Grant home a day early.  We had planned to leave for California to tour Maren's mission, and it overlapped with camp.  He had fun, exploring, hiking, playing disc golf and being with the Young Men.  We are grateful for the area we live!  We love our youth!

Ryan is still working hard in Colombia!  He is still in Valledupar, now serving with Elder Rios.  They had a baptism in May!  The work is slowly progressing.  He is trying to stay positive, even with it being a little slower than he would like.  The heat doesn't seem to bother him as much (at least we never really talk about it anymore, so I assume he is getting used to it).  We love talking to him each week!
