So Much Winter And Family

It has been so so wintery here.  Snowy, icy, coldy and wintery.  I'm about done, if you want to know the truth.  But, as I don't really have a choice, I am filling up my long winter days with some fun things.  One of those days, the kids, Gramma Lana and I went to a little taxidermied animal museum/fair, better known as Scheels.  It was a couple of hours of entertainment, and we even saw Bigfoot!

For most of the month of January Nicole and her family were here.  It was so much fun!  We got to celebrate her 30th birthday with her.  It was another snowy day that day, so the cousins all got to play together outside.  We love our backyard sledding hill.

 Lots of dress up occurred.
Even Dustin and Maren dressed up!  They had an Activity Days Daddy Daughter Sock Hop that night.

This little cutie couldn't keep her eyes off of Dustin.  She must have a thing for old, balding, very handsome men.  Just like me!

We had Edith and Nicole for a few more days and we loved the cousin time.  We were all sad to see them leave!

After writing us an awesome report (her own idea), saving her money and waiting months for us to give her an answer (or for us to finally break down, however you want to look at it), we finally let Maren get a dwarf hamster.  He/She/It is very cute and somehow survived many little adoring cousins.
The girls went to a Book Signing Ball.  They even got to dress up for it.

We spent a day down at Trafalga and a BYU Men's Volleyball game.  We love BYU.

I've noticed this week that the light is changing.  When it is sunny, it feels a little warmer, and it isn't pitch black outside by 5:30 PM.  Spring must be on its way!!

We wish we could visit more often! Just keep clinging to those small signs of Spring!
