A Beautiful March

We had a lovely March.  It is so fun to have Maren home with us again!  She is leaving for the summer, so we are trying to enjoy all the time that we can with her.  Our niece, Laney, and her friends came by to see Maren after she got home.  It was fun to visit with her.
Grant had Solo and Ensemble at his school.  He did a piano solo, sang in a quartet, and sang in an octet, and he made it to region for all three songs (although they didn't end up doing the quartet because someone had to work).

Now that Maren is home, she has been listing DVD's for us like crazy.
Dustin went to Rootstech with some members of our Marshallese Branch.

While Maren and I went to her friend Sydney's bridal shower.  Crazy that these girls are old enough to be getting married!
Dustin and I went to the Opera and it was great!

Grant went to California with his choir group, and while he was gone, Dustin and I went to St. George for the weekend with friends.  It was so nice to be in the sunshine, having fun with friends!

I lived in Southern Utah my whole growing up life, and never went to Gunlock Falls.  We went one of the mornings while we were there and walked around.  It was only in the 70's, but that didn't stop people from jumping in the cold water!

We went to Veyo after and got their famous pies (Dustin and I ordered the last chicken pot pie).
Dinner that night at the house (my friend Jen's parents own the home and rent it out, but it was free that weekend so we got to stay there.  It is a huge house that can hold 50 people!).  We are so grateful for good friends!

We've had some beautiful sunsets!
Dustin and I had lunch one afternoon at a little hamburger place near the field where The Sandlot was filmed.

Maren finally spoke in church about her mission experience!  It took a month to make it happen, but she did a great job and it was so fun to hear her testimony.

Her former companion, Sister Dalley, came from Idaho to watch and stayed with us for the night.

The missionaries serving in the Marshallese Branch stopped by.  Elder Riding is the son of Dustin's old favorite mission companion and he served in the Branch, for one transfer.
They even went to teach a lesson together so Dustin could say he taught with both Elder Ridings.
We love Mondays!
Date Night
Region Solo and Ensemble and Madrigal Festival.  Grant did a great job!

My friend's daughter got home from her mission, and she asked Maren and I to come take pictures for her.  It was so fun!

Grant asked his friend McKenna to prom and she answered him a few weeks later with a goat!  So funny!

We took a Friday night to help my parents work on their yard and celebrate my Mom's birthday early.  Maren hadn't seen their house yet because they moved when she was on her mission.

We had an Easter celebration at Gramma Lana's church.
We got a new couch!
Temple with Maren.
We went to Easter Sacrament Meeting in the Marshallese Branch.
And we went later that night to walk around the Capital and see the cherry blossoms.  They were mostly gone, but there was a huge crowd at the Capital.

And just like that, March is over!
