While Nicole, Matt and Edith were here visiting, Jen decided to go into labor 2 weeks early (on New Year's Eve). So we got a new niece! The day before, because she wasn't feeling well, we took Jen's kids with us to a place with bounce houses. It had a big trampoline thing in the middle of the floor and bounce houses all around the sides. We let the kids jump for hours, which was great since it was somewhere around 8 degrees outside that day.
Even the adults got in on the action a couple of times.
We had Jen's boys at our house for a couple of days, which was a huge party! And then we finally got to meet this little sweetheart.

As all newborns do, she melted right into me when I held her. Oh, she is sweet!
Having Nicole with us (off and on) for 2 weeks was wonderful. Avery and Maren got in a lot of babysitting practice. The kids loved having Edith around, and oohed and ahhed over everything she did.
Here are all the local cousins. Trying to get that picture was quite the event!
It was so much fun having Nicole and Edith here (Matt flew home a couple of weeks before). I loved all the sister time, and the kids loved all the cousin/baby time. After 3 weeks of family in town, we have finally settled back in to our routine. And, routine is nice, but family is nicer.
