We had birthday parties, and Spring Break and Easter in April, but we did some other things, too.
The boys learned how to skin a raccoon from our friend Landon, for all those times in their future careers when they will need to "skin a 'coon."
We had track, track and more track. Maren is running for the high school, and Ryan ran for the Junior High. They have both done well and it has been fun to watch them. And because it is April, we froze during some track meets, and got sunburned at others.
Avery had her Senior Pictures taken. One of my preschool moms did her pictures and Avery and I met her at 7:00 on a cold spring morning. They turned out great!
We've had lots of band, orchestra and choir concerts. Some in person, some virtual.
I finally gave Avery her finished t-shirt blanket. She and Pepper liked it.
We did some Costco shopping. Shopping with my teenagers is at times a little like shopping with my toddlers was...
We did some yard work, both our own and Gramma Lana's. The kids also started back up their lawn mowing business, so all Saturdays have been full of yard work.
Soccer every Saturday!
Our friends, Jacque and Tyler, celebrated their 20th Anniversary by coming to Provo and reliving where all the magic started. I lived with Jacque for four years and Dustin and I got married around the same time as them, and so, of course, they invited us to be a part of their anniversary trip! We met them for dinner in Provo and then walked around our old stomping grounds.
We recreated some exciting moments together, like when they taught me how to walk as a child, and then someone made a statue out of it.
We went to a Downtown Provo party and played Corn Hole, danced, spray painted stuff and played balancing games at a game store, and partied like it was the year 2000.
We laughed so much and had such a great time with them. BFF's are the best!
