March-In Like A Lion And Out Like A...Lion?

March started out with Grant singing in a quartet for Solo and Ensemble at school. He did great and his group made it to the District competition!
He busted his front tooth again.
And we fixed it again!
The boys and Dustin and I went to Rootstech, just in downtown SLC.  Elder Gong and his wife were the speakers and it was really good!  It inspired us to plan a family history trip in the future.

We spent a Saturday afternoon at the Logan temple with Dustin's dad and some cousins and aunts and uncles.  It was really fun to be there together!
Grant had a district band festival.  He plays the trumpet and does a great job.  He even had a little duet that we didn't know was coming.
Maren made it official!
Funny, stretchy dog.
Our youth from our ward did a food drive one Saturday morning.  This was on the one sunny weekend of March.  It was colder than those youth make it appear...

A lovely sunny Sunday playing games together outside.
And then this happened again.
And this.
And this.
And this was today.
These pictures are from Lake Tahoe, but Utah is the same.  It is the highest snow pack on record this year! Alta Ski Resort's snow fall is at 753" total for this year (almost 63 feet!).  Their base is at 205" (17 feet).  We need the water SO bad, but now there is worry of flooding in the Spring.  So far, it has been a nice cold Spring, which is helping to avoid flooding.  But, we are changing our prayers for water a little bit from here on out!

However, it is Spring in some areas of the United States!

Just not here.  Where we live, it is so cold that faces are freezing in the snow.
