The whole country is in a drought, and somehow we keep bringing rain with us everywhere we travel!
The birthday boy walking a tight rope.
He requested a batman cake. I don't know if he's ever actually seen a batman show, but he loves him anyway.
Dustin's sister set up a fun dinner at the (rainy) park with Dustin's family. It was a little cold, but a lot of fun. The kids didn't mind the rain. The world was their swimming pool!
Ryan is five. He'll be starting kindergarten in the Fall. He has grown up so much in the last year. He has become much more independent. Ryan is such a boy. He loves all things super hero, makes great sound effects, can drive little cars around for hours and loves to play ball. He loves his dad and will give up any playtime to help him with chores around the house and yard. It is really sweet to see him idolize Dustin. Ryan loves to laugh and he has a really great laugh to listen to. He has a happy personality and he is a sweet son! We love him!

Can't believe you will have 3 in school this year! I remember waiting anxiously for my bday as I watched my siblings celebrate theirs. I can totally relate!
Oliver had a batman cake for his 5th birthday as well, but yours turned out much better!
