More Extended Family Time!

This year we went from one reunion to another, with only a night of sleeping in our home.  But it was worth it to hurry to Denver in time for Dustin's sister's baby blessing and her other son's baptism.  And we made it by the skin of our teeth (actually, we had about an hour to spare).
So, I didn't take any pictures of that, but I did get some awesome pictures of the kids playing at Grandma's.

We spent the week in Denver and had so much fun with family.  We took advantage of the beautiful weather and hiked, went to the zoo, barbecued, jumped on Grandpa's trampoline, and otherwise just enjoyed our time with Dustin's family.

 Ahh, there's that cute baby!

 Avery loved the seals.

One afternoon we went to a really great park where the adults had just as much (or more) fun as the kids did.

 See?

Oh yea, the kids had some fun, too.

Another fun thing that we did while we were in Denver was participate in Ryan's Ride.  This is a bike ride that Dustin's family does every year in memory of his brother, Ryan, who died of cancer in 1999.  We spent a fun day at the park, riding bikes, eating and visiting with family.

We also celebrated Ryan's birthday (our little Ryan-I'll post that one next time).  We drove home on his actual birthday.  We sure love our family.  It was so nice to be there for so long and to see so many people!  And, as usual, we packed in the fun while we were there!
