This year's Father Son Campout ended up being the week that the temperatures finally dropped from 95 degrees, to 50 degrees. Actually to less than 40 degrees up in the mountains. But Dustin and the boys are troopers, and they braved the freezing temperatures and freezing rain and survived, like the true boy scouts that they are. And they had fun, too! They canoed at the lake, hiked and saw moose. Very exciting!
This picture was sent to me at midnight, assuring me that the boys were well bundled. What a good dad Dustin is.
Grant found the world record Mike n Ike. Or, so he thinks.
The girls and I had fun here in our nice warm house. Avery had a birthday party, so Maren and I had fun visiting Barnes and Noble and giving ourselves pedicures, while we watched Sound of Music. And we bought Pepper a Halloween costume.
