It had been a couple of years since we had been to Denver to see Dustin's family there, so for Fall Break, we loaded up the kids and headed back to the mother land! The weather was beautiful and it was nice and relaxing to see family and spend time together.
We started out our first day by floating boats and playing behind Dustin's dad's house.
That afternoon we found a fun park to play at. These mirrors provided much laughter and entertainment.
We took the girls to the Denver Temple to do baptisms for the dead. It was peaceful and always nice to be at the temple with them.
The next day, Danielle and Tyler and family came over and we all went to a Corn Maze/hayride/weird bouncy thing coming out of the ground. It was so much fun!
Later that night we went to Danielle's to stay, and the next day we explored a part of Colorado Springs called Manatou Springs. Dustin's dad lived in the area when he was a little boy, and they used to go to the natural springs and make koolaid. They are carbonated springs, so it was like homemade soda! We had so much fun wandering around this little town!
And on the way back, we made a quick stop at Garden of the Gods.
We went back to Denver that night and had yummy dessert with grandma and grandpa. After church the next day we headed back home. It was such a fun trip!
