Fall has officially been here for a few weeks, but this week it really feels like Fall! The weather has turned cold! It got really cold, just in time for Avery's last race of the Cross Country season. She had a great season and improved a lot.
To celebrate Fall-ness, we made caramel apples.
To celebrate Fall we got a new vacuum! Ok, ok, this really has nothing to do with a change in seasons. But, after 17 1/2 years, our old vacuum was starting to FALL apart...
Dustin helped the boys make theses stilts. Ryan is really good at walking around with them. He can go up and down hills, and has only Fall-en a few times (one that cut up his leg pretty bad, though). I, however, Fall every time I try to walk on them.
Dustin found this salamander by our back stairs, and you will rejoice with me in knowing that we put him back outside, in a safe place, that is not inside as a pet, like my kids wanted.
A great part of Fall--General Conference! The girls and I met the other girls in our family (at least those that live close by) and we had a fun dinner and went to the Women's Session of Conference. It was lovely. And, we color coordinated our outfits. Bonus!
We had a Cousin's Halloween Party. We had lots of fun with spooky food, fun games, and, as all good family fun usually does, it ended with an injury. Poor Addie had two stitches in her head before the night was over.
