Omens

On New Year's Day, 1/1/10, if you will (and I will), I got a nasty stomach flu. A bad omen? But that afternoon my neighbor called and offered to bring me homemade soup. Ahh, a good omen! But then she said it was split pea soup. Hmmmm.

OHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! BAAAAAAAAAD omen. Split pea soup is the devil liquified!!! Seriously nasty. Numero Uno on list of Nastiest Foods Out There. YUCK.

You can look at it in 2 ways. Either you cup is half full or your cup is half empty.
Maybe that was the worst of your 2010 whoas and now nothing but good will come!
So it was a good omen...
