Green Day and Visitors

St. Patrick's Day came and went.  We wore our best green Christmas socks, used unhealthy amounts of green food coloring in our food, and a couple of us even got pinched.  All in all, a success!

That's one lucky clover pancake there, Grant!
Gramma Lana is in town!  She always brings fun, excitement and lots of presents when she comes.  This time she also brought some rain and snow.
With Grandma in tow, we headed to Cedar for Tax Sales.  On the way we stopped at Cove Fort.  It was a beautiful day and a busy place to visit.  Did you know they get 69,000 visitors annually?  Well, now you do.  And you should visit, too!  It's as good as the zoo! (Just kidding.  It just rhymed so nicely.) We have been driving past it for years, saying that we should stop and take our kids.  I'm glad we finally did it.  Our missionary tour guide was wonderful and the kids did a great job listening.

When we got to Cedar, some of us had to go slave away in a vault at the Courthouse, while the rest of the family went hiking and had fun.

We lucked out because before we came back home, we got to celebrate my Mom's birthday.  And eat delicious Tiger Cake.

I need to know more about tax sales - we are really working at getting rid of our student loans.
We stopped by Cove Fort a few years ago after a trip to St. George and we really loved it. I always love historic stops.
That dessert in the last picture looks delicious!
